It may have been the timing and my age at that time, I also think Luigi's Mansion and Star Fox Adventures are some of the best platformers Nintendo has ever created, the majority of people don't agree

But both of them were good games, I agree.

Sorry, it's just that when I think platformer, I've always associated it with game's like Ratchet & Clank, Banjo and Donkey Kong 64. Adventure game's would be the better way to describe them, my bad
