The fact that a black wii exists now for $200 ? and the 10/10 for SMG 2 do make me want to buy a wii somewhat, Yes.
But I like the fact that I haven't ever bought one. It was so popular and I didn't give into the hype. I looked at what was offered then, and weighed my choices carefully and love the fact that I never gave in.
But if the new Zelda comes out and it is great, I will almost have to get a wii.
and if Nintendo swallows their pride and finally adds an achievement system, I will shove people down trying to get a wii.
So overall the black wii and Mario have helped, but still not there yet.
@Metallicube: I own both HD systems and I will tell you why. I got the 360 at launch because it was the start to this gen, and omg was it so great to play those launch games in all of their hd glory. It was all so beautiful and xbl was unlike anything i had ever known video games could be!
Then the PS3 launched. This system is my baby, and I needed to have it. Holy christ the PS3 exclusives are so incredible, and the PS3 is one of the most capable bluray/ wireless netflix machines out there... still. This is the best all around experience in games I have ever had.
If I had it to do over again, I probably would have just waited for the PS3 and never purchased the 360. But having both does have its advantages, like the perk of being able to be choosy about multiplat hd games, and ofcourse being able to buy ANY exclusive hd game regardless of the platform.
