The new design should allow them to bring more stock into the US but they are probably still losing money on each console sold here. Sony's recent announcment that they now make money on every console sold seems to suggest they are averaging that "each console sold".

I think we can rule out it being a supply chain problem now, sony isn't having a hard time getting 45,000 units to the US, it's definately by design.

It's Europe where they should be worried about losing money. The Euro is at its lowest level against the yen since 2001.



Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.
