Mass Effect 2 Sales - What Went Wrong? (I am very worried)

Whatever the reason it's a real shame. ME2 was some of the most fun I have had all year. And I always thought ME1 was overrated (still do).

When I look at the trash that seems to sell the best it just reminds me how the hardcore game buyers are still mostly teens obsessed with the next FPS sequel. Real hardcore gamers seem to be a real minority over the XBL-slur yelling scene that seems to be behind our industry.
