| Kantor said: What do you expect Sony to do here? Nintendo's made an incredibly successful product. Sony didn't think it would be successful, so they ridiculed it. Then, they ridiculed it out of fear, fear that their multitude of original IPs and HD graphics were getting beaten by motion control. Then it DID take off, and naturally Sony (and Microsoft) wanted a piece of the motion control pie. The technology was there, but it had been left on the backburner. Nintendo convinced Sony that motion control was worth investing in, so they did, and they had to save SOME face, so they said that the Wiimote was casual and Move is a hardcore experience. As for people saying the Wiimote was a gimmick and Move is Sony's gift to mankind, I have doubts about the existence of these people. I haven't encountered any. And if they do exist, just ignore them. There are...overly enthiusiastic fans on all sides. |
Ugh, no they didnt.
