Its about to shoot past FF8, and i think definitly surpass FF10 within this fisical year. as it stands now less than 1 mil to hit that 2.70 mil. these figures are very immpressive despite the negative press.
i think if the PS3 sales can reach about 1.8 mil and 360 sales reach 0.9 mil (this will be difficult) i think this is possible within the next 2 years. word of mouth and advertising seem to be strong so hopefully it can top FF7 and hit an all time high in EU, maybe even 3 mil with price cuts.
