If a game as critically acclaimed as Alan Wake is, combined with fanboy buzz, and other things (like screaming advertising on this site) ends up meaning it doesn't break a profit, that will tell me the videogame indusrty has serious issues in regards to its business model. Maybe the industry can't afford to do games like Alan Wake, or stuff that are supposed to be storytelling epics. It needs to target lower, and still get people captivated.
Anyhow, it is still early for Alan Wake. Maybe it has something called legs.
