I didn't expect sales to be this low. That said it didn't receive much marketing, but for a title in development for 5. Its one of the best games I have played in its genre, I hope it makes a profit.

this game was hyped to be up to uncharted standards by certain fans, yet it was not, not only that it has not even sold as well as uncharted did, now if we are going by fan idiology it is even more of a flop than uncharted 1 was, so expect a pc version very very soon

Sales can surge because of good word of mouth and Uncharted certainly had a lot of that. even though i dont have an Xbox and i dont like M$, i have to admit this game looked awesome. its a shame its not selling better, considering Heavy Rain did really well, and this seemed to be better than that.

Having played them both extensively, they really have no relation. WAKE is nothing like HR, not by a long shot. It's not marketed very well either. The game has so many things working against it, not to mention it hit on the same day as RDR.

I see, i was under the impression Alan Wake was 360's Heavy Rain. i have Heavy Rain and i too have finished it extensively and i can tell you as someone who dosent like M$ i would rather have Alan Wake, and thats just looking at the trailers and stuff. i've never played it. like i said before its a shame its not selling well, a game like that seems to deserve great sales. yeah, its true that RDR cant be good for AW sales either, but if i had a choice i'd still go for Alan Wake actully.

someone on this thread also mentioned how this game would sell 1.5-2 mil, i think thats really unlikely. Mass Effect 2 hasnt reached that yet, and i would say ME has more mass market appeal than this.
