On a fine day in the Fall of 2005 I had decided to trade in my PSP, it was a hard decision on my part because I loved my PSP, but I also really wanted a PS2. For year's I had been the odd kid out, always siding with Nintendo and allowing other teenager's to point and sneer at my little purple box, at that point I had enough of the sneering and the 'lunch box' jokes, so I traded in my PSP for a PS2. With that PS2 I got a two controller's, the well known FIFA 05 and a game called God of War. I have to remind you that I'd always been kind of a Nintendo fanboy, I still have my two Gamecubes to this day (along with my game collection), but that night my gaming lifestyle changed forever.

I kid you not, that from that day forward I became a Sony fan and a God of War lover. My love for God of War also allowed me to meet someone who today is my best friend, we both shared a love for God of War and would spend classes talking about the game.

Two year's passed and God of War 2 was released, I bought it on the first day and finished the whole game in two night's. Then finished it again in God mode and then again in Titan mode (that was just a head fuck).

When the 360 launched my mum won a Pro model at work and she gave it to me. I kept that 360 for month's, did not open it all and I struggled through that torture until the PS3 release date. I got the 360, I put together my saving's of $700 and I bought a PS3 for the price of $999, all that for God of War 3.

I waited and waited for year's. MGS4 came, Bioshock came, Oblivion came, Uncharted came, but none of them could quench my God of War thirst. Then the teaser's rolled in, then the trailer's rolled in, then the developer interview's rolled in, the demo came and then on March 18th of 2010, I picked up my collector's addition of God of War 3. I got home, put it in my PS3 and then didn't stop. I played the game until the wee hour's of the morning and when I was done, I sat there and watched the credit's roll on (as I do with all game's I really enjoyed). The wait was definitely worth it.

OP: You made me read some long ass God of War storey, so I wrote my own =D.

P.S. GOW 2 is better than GOW 3, just sayin.

You Sir, are a Hero!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
