Since Alan Wake don't have online, the sales will be poor. 2 of my friends already downloaded it and they say it's not worth $60 since it was short to them and has no online.

360 is all about online. That's why shooters sell good on it. You can't play Alan Wake with yours friends. Red Dead took the sales away from it. It should have beed released last month or in July. Would have been better on the PS3 too.

Edit: Also there's not much marketing for it so that make the sales low too.  I hope it'll sale good though.  It looks like a good game.

I suggest if your "hoping" for anything is to hope your friends and other people who don't buy new, do so to support this game. I mean seriously, your friends downloaded and don't feel It's worth $60? Well of course they don't! They didn't pay anything for it.

I do tell them to buy they games only if the games are worth it and to me Alan Wake do look like it's worth it but they still download anyway.  They been doing it for years.  They grown men and they do what they want.  It's not like they don't buy games.  They don't mine paying for shooters and sports games as long as it have online because to them it gives replay value since they have to pay for online.  Really I can't tell them to buy Alan Wake if I never played it.  I can't say if it's really good and worth the money.  Neither can you.  Unless you bought it but if not you should do the same to what you say and buy it.
