Dtewi I know a lot of people will humor you for overly reductive bullshit concerning what defines their tastes in video games, and a lot of people will participate in the back and forth banter that comes as a result of arguments over these points.
I am not one of those people.
I love FFIV for its own merits, appreciated it considerably more after playing the games that came after it, and will continue to appreciate it based on its own merits. That's all.
