Actually Origins is Baten Kaitos II (BK2 is its Japanese name but they decided to rename it Origins for the US release). Technically this would be BK3 :P

I thought Origins was a prequel? That would make it BK 0.

Technically, if this new game was a sequel to the original BK, it would be the 3rd BK game, yes, but should actually be called BK 2.

Ah whatever, they never released BK Origins here in Europe anyway, so to me it would be BK 2 no matter what, haha.
