SE has yet to release an exclusive game on PS3 when the 360 has had 2 console exclusives and 1 timed exclusive (there may be more but I can't think of the off the top of my head). It seems odd they'd do that unless MS were paying them bucket loads or they were trying to build a fanbase on 360 for the multiplat FFXIII. |
Who knows, but the reason given in interviews for those exclusives was to break more JRPG's into the western market. Back then PS3 was doing LESS than the GBA in America every month. There was so much pessimism for it back then.
But with FFXIII's release it kinds showed that most JRPG fans are on the PS3 (by the staggering difference).
Apparently SO4 & TOV were only 360 exclusive (NOT SE games but still) because they got Xbox 360 dev kits first.
I'm sure the real picture is not as innocent as I have made it seem like, money, fame, blackmail, horror & murder could have been involved.
