I'm tired of these comments that Sony is copying or will copy Nintendo, just because the design of the Move controller looks similar to the Wiimote.  So now you assume that Sony gives the psp2 a touchscreen because of the DS, am I right? Nintendo didn't invent touchscreens, you know? It's the same with motion controls. Nintendo isn't as innovative as many people think IMO.

Ah, don't take it so seriously, don't be so harsh. I get where you're coming from, don't worry.

I'm not saying Sony's sopying Nintendo all the time, but it's a fact that Nintendo usually tries things first (not that they invent them, they rarely do, and that's not what I've been saying anywhere, anyway), and when these things DO become successful, Sony does them too (albeit in a slightly different way).

Honestly, when Wii was unveiled, Sony (among others) dismissed motion controls as a gimmick, a fad that would soon pass. According to them, consumers wouldn't be interested. Go Google, you should find these sort of quotes easily. Do you *honestly* believe Sony Move would exist in the state it is currently in if Wii hadn't? Or if Wii had been a big fat flop?

As for DS, no, Nintendo didn't invent touchscreens (again, I never said that). But Nintendo were the first to successfully implement touchscreens into gaming, and made it hugely popular. This was way before the iPhone/iPod Touch, too. And yes, I assume PSP2 will have a touchscreen partly due to DS. Had DS not had a touchscreen, or if it would've been a major disappointment/flop, I doubt Sony would implement one in PSP2.

Again, I respect your opinion, but I wasn't saying Sony was blatantly copying Nintendo, NOR that Nintendo were the inventors of most of their products' features. But, it's a fact that Nintendo is by far the most innovative company out of the current 3 videogame giants, and that they do usually implement unique features in successful ways and make them popular.
