It can't be that hard to make a vampire game nowadays, since one of the most popular interpretations of the monster is a flat-out Villain/Anti-Hero Stu. Just stick fangs and generic superpowers to random people, change the setting to eternal night and add a crapload of sex, angst and goth crap. Bang, you're done.
Now, making a vampire game that isn't just a godmoded Prototype with a few vampire-themed tack-ons might be more of a challenge. Or hell, making one that would actually be interesting and well written, for that matter, since IMO that would actually require breaking the mold of the current KEWL vampire - that is, presenting the monster with actual weaknesses and inner conflicts that WereKitten mentioned (assuming the character is good).
