A 3DS version of FF7 would be an absolutely perfect fit in my opinion. I would gladly buy that one.
I don't blame Square for jumping ship to Sony, Sony obviously had a greater financial interest in Square, and invested in the company (Nintendo didn't bother) and created hardware and a sales environment more suitable for the game. Nintendo went very exclusive and elitest, and as a result they had very little to offer on the N64 (and I mean quanitity here, I remember owning an N64 and considering each and every game thoroughly because only one game was released every month or two).
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
