I used to shop at Gamestop. I mean it made sense. A store built around games. Hell my town just became game central, with it's own Gamestop coming here a few months ago and a Play N Trade following shortly thereafter. I haven't really tried Play N Trade, but I know I rarely go to Gamestop these days. I go to Toys R Us, also in my town (Told you, game central!) and I'm not on the "Gamestop sucks" bandwagon, but they kinda do ... Am I the only one, who more often than not, will walk into a Gamestop and find a new game is not available? Last time it was Super Mario Bros Wii. I went the day of release or the very next day. I asked why they didn't have anymore, and I was told they ordered enough to cover the preorders, and like an extra ten copies for the general public. And that was it. They were out. It'd be another week until they go it in. So I go to Toys R Us, they have it in stock AND I got a $10 gift card with my purchase. That I used in the future. In fact, the past three games I bought from Toys R Us (All Nintendo first party games) came with a gift card I could use for future purchases.

So when I'm ready for my Galaxy 2 kick, I'm going to Toys R Us. And will probably once again, get a gift card. Without even having to preorder. Honestly, there are few (if any) preorder bonuses through gamestop that can beat 'cash' that you can use later, to buy other stuff. Hell, Toys R Us even had some decent bonuses, again without having to preorder. I got a gift card and a kick ass stylus pen for the DS (That I love and adore) when I bought a Pokemon game for the DS.
