I am unconvinced that this is a long term thing, it could well be the influence of all the huge games that were released recently for the PS3

we shall see.

Indeed. Oh and by the way, I haven't heard "PS3 can't sell games" in about as long as I haven't heard "The ps3 doesn't have any games" Both of these died out with the MGS4 launch. The PS3 has a good attach ratio, the 360 has a slightly better one. There's not a huge amount in it.

Also, I'm not particular sure about this source. They don't detail how they arrive at their totals.

According to this source, the attach ratios are as follows

PS3 8.1

360 8.8

Wii 7.7

According to VGChartz, who explain their numbers in much more detail, the attach ratios are as follows

PS3 6.9

360 8.78

Wii 6.76

Giving us the total error in this source as

PS3 +1.2

360 +0.02

Wii +0.94

I know that they are using shipped numbers and VGChartz uses sold, but I can't see there being that big a difference between shipped and sold for PS3 and Wii but such a small one for 360, and I can't see there being widespread undertracking of PS3 and Wii games by such an amount
