PS2 shipped more than xbox 360 last quarter (1.7 m vs 1.5 m) - thoughts?

I agree, but Nintendo should avoid killing its sales too early, it's an achievement that would give it immense prestige and not to be overlooked. Aggressive DS pricing after 3DS is launched should be enough to support sales, anyway.

The DS will easily outsell the Ps2. By VGChartz numbers, it's just 7.2 million behind. By my estimates, that leaves the DS to tie the Ps2 somewhere around December this year.  There's no chance that the Ps2 will then suddenly start outselling the DS.
