Yeah my parents were amazed by Uncharted 2's graphics as well. It was the Tibet area, though.

If I'm playing a violent game and they swing by, though, then they say the same thing over and over again: "All this killing and blood! How will you benefit from all this?! Play something else!" (of course, it's just a rant, they've no say on what I play).

haha my mom does the exact same thing. She always nags me when I play and asks me what the point of playing videogames is so at this point I just make up stuff. I'm like mom didn't you hear about that study that shows that people that play videogames are 10 times more likely to become doctors

OT: No one has ever mistaken me playing a videogame for a movie but when my relatives came over they were amazed by how good Forza 3 looked. My dad actually started to get motion sickness cause I was driving so fast in cockpit view.

When I started playing Halo 2 on xbl it was pretty amazing for my parents and especially my grandmother too. The concept of playing with millions of other people on your tv was completely foreign to them. My grandmother was so confused as to why I was yelling at and talking to the tv.

LOL, I just end up saying it influences my studies in college for graphic design, which is true. For example, for my 2nd last design project I drew a PMC soldier from MGS4 and for my final project I drew 2 elites from Halo, one holding a Covenant Carbine and the other an energy sword (of course, there's more to the projects than that, but you know what I mean).

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!
