FF7 is the only one that I think requires a remake; FF8 and FF9 were fairly solid, and are very playable today. FF7 needs new 3D art for map characters, and some of the rendered backgrounds replaced (due to poor navigation); as well as something done about load times and slow animations which make fighting take too long. I would be more interested in seeing something like this, as opposed to a huge massive FF13 quality remake.
