Super Paper Mario is awesome and I've heard great things about The Godfather. Legend of Zelda had this awesome "Twilight Hack" bug feature built in, but it's been superceded by BannerBomb. Speaking of superceded, I can see Madden '07 too. Um... these are all pretty old games. It's like you're a time traveller who can't make polls or something.
As for your "upcoming" games... it might be worth holding out for Wii Party instead of Mario Party 8, unless you like the Mario Party series. Not sure about any of the others, but here's a list of upcoming games I'd recommend:
- Super Mario Galaxy 2
- Epic Mickey
I have a bunch of niche titles that I plan to get for myself, but I think the two above have almost universal appeal.
