That's kind of funny cause the quality of games back in 1990's was much higher than the one right now in 2010, in absolutely every genre.

Well, ouside of the simulation genres, like flight simulator or racing games, you end up with games of the following kind:

SMB3, SMB World, System Shock 2, X-COM, Thief, Unreal Tournamnet, Deus Ex, Starcraft, Street Fighter 2, etc. etc. etc. Most of those are considered unsurpassed even to this days by huge amounts of people, and for some it's practically unanimous.

 

P.S. What kind of retarded name is Starcraft or Unreal Tournament anyhow?
