Yes you could but I opted to compare VGC numbers from a 10% margin perspective and compare with NPD using their numbers as absolute values since most people see NPD as more reliable than VGC.
Now, taking the margins of error for them both and extrapolating the numbers to see possible results over a large margin (like, say, 150 to 250k for X360), that would be pointless.
