Taking out a margin of error of 10%, you'll have PS3 overtracked 8k, X360 overtracked 25K, Wii overtracked 47k.

The numbers in the OP have already been adjusted from NA to US.

I'm not doing Americas to US lol. That's just a standard margin of error loosely based on overall tracking accuracy. Should VGC numbers be below NPD ones I'd put in a 10% margin all the same.

That's kind of pointless since margin of error works both ways and for both sets of data.  You could just as easily say, for example, the Wii is overtracked by 146k by taking the upper limit of VGC and lower limit of NPD (assuming a 10% margin of error for them as well).

Yes you could but I opted to compare VGC numbers from a 10% margin perspective and compare with NPD using their numbers as absolute values since most people see NPD as more reliable than VGC.

Now, taking the margins of error for them both and extrapolating the numbers to see possible results over a large margin (like, say, 150 to 250k for X360), that would be pointless.
