What is more interesting is that in a week with no significant release PS3 software is almost virtually tied with Wii SW in Others....

factor in the bundle software and PS3 actually sold more games than the Wii, quite good...

Well, you can also say that, opposite to the ps3, wii has seen no major releases so far, and that ps3 just got the FIFA world cup 2010 game, which is extremely popular in Europe.

Your logic doesnt make sense, Ali is referring to this past week which did not see any new PS3 releases.  Your Wii reference is talking about an longer period of time (more than 1 week) and a game that hansnt been released yet.  You are comparing apples and oranges.

Yes, wii has seen no major release... that includes last couple of weeks. Opposite to the ps3, which has had 3 good releases in the las 2 weeks. SO yeah, I have a BIG point there.

Point 1: The time frame im getting from Ail comment is just 1 week not 2 not 10 just 1.  This past week (last 7 days) no new ps3 releases, take away Wii bundled software, PS3 software is greater.

Point 2:

The Wii has had  a significant amount of new releases in the past month:

Sin and Punishment, Sakura Wars, The same fifa game released on the PS3, the same Iron Man 2 title released on the PS3, Monster Hunter Tri

The fact that these games are not selling is not the PS3's fault but to say that the Wii hasnt had any titles released that is significant is ludacris.

So you expect a game to launch and just sell that week?It's obvious that if you had 3 new games last week, you are going to see an increase in SW numbers.

 

I don't count Iron man as a important realease. Sin and punishment and sakura wars DO NOT compare to GTA and SF.

 

MHTri is the only important release, and still, not even in the same league as the other ones.

 

The fact that you ignore this things, and are misinformed is what tends you to say such stupid claims.

It's going to be hard to find a period where no new game was released on the PS3 at all for more than a 7 days period...

All I'm saying is that there hasn't been any significant recent big release ( I don't consider FIFA that sold 130k in week 1 in Others to be a major blockbuster..).

The last real big PS3 release in Other was GoW3 and that was 8 weeks ago..

Realistically this is a very quiet period....

There are PS3 games released at least every other week....
