I'm also starting to doubt the DS can sustain a passing of the PS2 *if* the 3DS comes out this Fall versus next Spring. PS2s are just now getting sent to other countries that never saw one, will Nintendo do the same with the DS? I doubt it, and for that reason if PS2 keeps getting sent to developing countries over the next few years it should regain It's lead over the DS.
It's a shame that the PS2 will be dead in the water outside of Sports games pretty soon, unless we get some surprise announcements at E3.
Yeah, PS2 best system ever pretty much in terms of sales and content.
It's just that simple.
