The characters I listed, they're sense of identity were stripped from them, and they realize they've been lving their entire life a lie. At least with the l'Cie brand they could hide it like at Nautilus and still live normally. And don't give me the "Oh, I'll become a Cie'th" crap since they knew that when crystallized they'd wake up. Look at Vivi, he had a lot more to complain about. He was engineered, he realized that his life didn't mean anything on the cargo ship, he only had months to live, and his grandpa died. Don't you think Vivi had it a LITTLE BIT worse? |
Yes they knew when crystallized they'd wake up but What kind of life is waking up from a crystal sleep just to do another focus and be crystallized again? They were l'cie forever.
If vivi was engineered then Hope also became a l'cie & became a pawn, a tool of the fal'cie forever.
So your telling me being turned into a l'cie who needs to serve the fal'cie forever isn't having your identity stripped of yourself? right...
