I have seldom come across people who say they hate another race and tried to justify it; and if they do try to justify it they almost never do it as shamelessly as homophobes do.
However, both racism and homophobia exist. It's just that it is seen as "more acceptable" to be a homophobe in the public eye.
Just to drive home my point, I could easily name five or six established members on this site who have said they hate homosexuals or their behaviour, but I have only ever once seen a well established member of this site say they hate other races in the same way.

This is typical example of someone who mixes political correctness with tolerance.
People are not required to like someone and praise his way of life just because they are minority all that tolerance asks is that we don't discriminate against them.

Anyway, I do know the difference, it just hasn't come across in this post. I am aware there is a difference and with tolerance you don't have to like them, just don't discriminate against them. For now I'll chalk it up to temporary lapse of judgement or tiredness... Either that or a combined lack of attention and intelligence.
Probably the latter.
