actually he is right sony hasn't been the leader of T.V's, phones, or any other electronic since the 21st century started

That's why they went into the video game market.  At least they where one of the co developers of Bu-ray but the first Blu-ray player available in the US market was made by Samsung.  They where also the leaders when it comes to OLED TV's but have been surpassed in that field by Samsung also.

Speaking of OLED...Whats taking so long?

I read that OLED were to be put on hold to focus on the 3D market.  As well because consumers arent ready for OLED since LED is just introduced.  Thats what i read tho, not sure how much of it is true.

I just feel that 1) OLED needs to be hell of a lot cheaper if they want to mass market it 2) Get ride of a display technology whether its LCD and/or Plasma.  It'll just confuse costumers more if when looking for a TV they have to decide between Plasma/LCD/LED/OLED.  I've seen some clueless between LCD and LED aside that they know its thinner.

Plama is dying a slow death.  Panasonic is really the only company that is still actively promoting it, so once they are done its time for OLED to enter the market.  LCD will still be arround for a long time because for TV's less then 32 inches in size its pretty much still the only choice if you want a mass market priced product.
