I have not seen the new Nightmare on Elm Street, but these things I know:
I own all of the original movies including Freddy Vs. Jason.
The first movie was probably the best slasher movie ever.
Robert Englund was amazing as Freddy Krueger.
Freddy Krueger is now being played by Jackie Earle Haley.
Jackie Earle Haley was Kelly Leak in the original Bad News Bears.
The thought of Kelly Leak trying to scare me is terrifying in itself.
