The sales of Monster Hunter shed's light on how Final Fantasy XIII is doing in Japan how? The two games are not related at all. Final Fantasy is a big series in Japan and has been for a while. Monster Hunter is only big on portables not home consoles. But the sales of Monster Hunter 3 have help to establish the Franchise on home consoles.
