The Wii has flatlined, flatlined a while ago infact, but thats due to dire lack of hardware pushing software, i mean theyve taken measure into hand to maintain the sales, but with the $199 sweet spot not doing as much as expected, you may start to feel that the Wii has very much lost much of non-gamer hype.
Still, many PS2 gamers who were duped into getting the Wii thinking its the natural progression are now considering HD, the 360 is nearly there and the PS3 will be too. I agree with TheSource and ioi (most likely) that HD has peaked, but lets not assume that its the end especially given how irregular this generation has been.
