Nope, make sure you do all the" key quest " (http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/MH3%3A_Online_Quests) . Then the " Urgent Request " leading the charge ...kill Barroth one and you should be eligible to rank 9 after you beat it.

 

ok i get it now missing no gunts not glorly. I did not know you played this game brawl! you should add me to your firends list! On a side note i am thinking about making the bug gear becuse being SnS is all about add effect and it seems to give a nice + to it but there only 3 parts to the gear dose that mean the other parts are free for any thing or that you cant have any thing on with the gear?

lol , funny thing is I was stuck on HR 8 till last night too. Don't know what your asking really, check that link I posted its a nice site with everything you need.
