its funny how much support Ninty gets now, I bet half these "fans" didnt even own a Gamecube. Looking at the sales between the 2 consoles, I would probably be right.
Its GC hands down, and ill tell you exactly why. Nintendo is Nintendo, there going to bring quality games no matter the platform, its indisputable. So for me it comes down to 3rd party support. Yes the WII has more, but 75% suck. Activision's deer hunter, bowling, carnival games??? I wouldnt wipe my ass with those things. GC had better 3rd party support REremake, MGS TTS, Eternal Darkness, a bunch of DC ports, and when you talk multiplat??? you guys are insane, the GC wins already, in its generation it was more powerful than PS2 so whatever multiplat games came out were definitely better than the leading console, Sonic Heroes, Soul Calibur 2, Spider-man, just to name a few. Wii hardware is weaker than the HDs so there multiplat games are ususally not as good. The GC was my 1st Ninty console so my expectations were low, im happy to say that it surpassed my expectations by far, there were times when I even put down the PS2 controller for weeks on end. that has not happened with the Wii, ive yet to find a game on that system to make to turn off my PS3 or hell my PSP.
