GC versions were still later ports. REmake wasn't "brand new", though it was a ground up remake to the degree where I wouldn't have a problem counting it. Of course, you could probably make the same sort of argument for Dead Rising Wii. And honestly, the time gap between some of the Wii ports (RE4, Okami) is actually less time than CVX GC was.
