both of my grandpa's served In WW2 and they deserve the right for people to be grateful. My great Uncle even died for the freedom of other countries. You should be very grateful that these american men and women served for your freedom.

It comes down to this, would you of won the war without the USA? No so you owe them a thankyou. We even loaned huge amounts of money for you to rebuild back europe. The Berlin airlift for example.

As for the American Revolution. No one is still alive. France helped us out huge and I bet most Americans dont realize we got the Statue of Liberty from the French. We should all know that and relize wat they did.

Using the current War on terrorism to say we dont need to remember wat america did for us is pathetic. I am thankful for you buddies help tho and there service is appreciated and I am gratful for their help.

I understand where you are coming from but I refuse to live on the back of my grandfather's glory.
