I don't really see a good future for Apple in the real gaming scene. If they were to create a dedicated iPlay or some piece of garbage it would probably run off of iPhone OS (Like the giant iPod Touch known as iPad) and have a few buttons. This will be their justification to charge maybe $200-$300 more than the base iPod Touch. Even worse, an Apple console would have to be at a higher price than PS3 at launch because it has a picture of a fruit on it....
