Fable TLC had one of the best spell inventory and delivery systems I have played. Fable 2 has the worst. They refused to pay for Danny Elfman's score, reduced camera control for the 'cinematic experience' and abandoned longbows and armour for flintlocks and fancy hats.
Ninja Gaiden II also sacrificed camera angles and control for gorified presentation, ramped the difficulty up and the fun way down.
Agree on PoP:SoT > everything since. FS will reverse the flow of time, maybe. Surprised ESIV and Fallout 3 haven't been mentioned. I'm a bit disappointed in the direction the ME franchise has taken as well but love and hate are really not involved.
