I wouldn't want them in complete power. But parties can have important influence on key issues without getting into the government. Let's imagine the BNP got 15%, it would be seen as a huge protest by the people against immigration and it's consequences. Kinda like Pia Kjersgaard and her party in Denmark in the last decade. Denmark straigtened up their immigration policies immensily after their nationalist party got big (they're a lot milder than BNP though).

Don't worry, I understand the concept of a pressure party.
Their only serious policy is their immigration policy, and quite frankly that policy batshit insane, it wouldn't work. Quite frankly, if people were sick of immigration I would hope they would vote UKIP, at least their immigration policies are somewhat rational yet effective.
