They can't torment other games about this, and then give Mario a free pass. I don't care how good the game is. If they don't get a free pass, then Mario shouldn't get one either. |
From what I've read from their reasoning, they dont like games that have essentially be done before, or have busted mechanics.
The fact that a sequel which is clearly based on the first game is so original and fresh that it doesnt feel stale in the slightest is amazing and makes me rediculously hyped.
