This thread is silly.
First, Nintendo doesn't normally bring out its new IPs until the 2nd or 3rd year their console has been out, they certainly don't try to launch them with the platform, that would be too risky. If you look at DS, you can see that that's where most of the new IPs are premiering at the moment.
Second, anyone paying attention knows there are several new IPs coming, including one from Miyamoto and at least 2 from Retro.
Third, what bothers me isn't that people claim Nintendo isn't making new IPs, it's when Nintendo does make new IPs and those people whining never touch them. Seriously, if you're not in line first day for Disaster, you shouldn't be talking. I don't care if there isn't line in front of the store, you MAKE ONE, and you make all of those people in that line buy that game right beside you.
It is for these three reasosn that I conclude this thread was lite-trolling fare.
