Nanobots: Kojima's Deux ex Machina.

Other than that, half of the characters were forgettable, and the other half were just plain annoying (Looking at you Akiba *rolls eyes*). Oh, and Otacon is as annoying as ever. May we never have to listen to him cry ever again.

Music was great however, and while the gameplay wasn't the most intuitive out there, but it got the job done. Bosses were forgettable (Well, Screaming Mantis was cool... but why would they tease me with a fight against Psycho Mantis? I'm still mad about it. Boo!) and the Meryl/Akiba marriage scene actually managed to make me embarrassed for them.

Vamp once again stole the bad guy show (and in another cutscene with Raiden that I would rather play than watch. Maybe Raiden will have flashbacks where I can fight him in Rising.) and the ladies too. Take that Otacon! But of course, the boss fight against him was yawn worthy.

I just don't know what to think of this game actually (heck, this pretty much goes for what I think of the series). I mean, it's riddled with so many instances of mediocrity... but at the same time it has some really really great stuff that makes it a blast to play and be a part of.

So... that leaves it as:
