What obvious reasons? No, I’m afraid what you just stated was a load of bull. Moreover, it has already been established that a worldwide release can be done quite effortlessly by any major publisher.
Not that I care much myself. I've got plenty to play until Brawl gets here. It might even benefit the sales of the game. As a matter of principle though, this shouldn't be happening, and thus people have the right to be pissed about it.
