No, its not too late.
Wii is in the lead and will stay that way throughout the rest of the gen. 3rd parties can still make money if they focused on making quality games for Wii as they do PS360.
If Sony can take a PSP game and upgrade it for PS3, then there is no reason a more powerful Wii game couldn't be ported to PS360 with graphical enhancements. 3rd parties are just being too narrow minded.
However, it won't happen. 3rd parties believe the core game experience can only be profitable on PS360 and since its combined market share is slightly more than Wii's then they have no real push to change pace.
This is why its mandatory to have Wii and an HD system in order to get it all. Kinda sucky as the games I have for my PS3 or intend to buy, I would have bought on Wii with slightly worse graphics and potentially better controls. But, I don't speak for the world.... yet.
