The only 2 things I really liked about FFXIII, wich made it not receive the same score I put on FXII(5/10) was just I really liked Vanille 
oh and the other thing was that beautiful cutscene on the highway after you get back on...umm coccoon was it?.
If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing (mostly)
