Call of Duty is an everygreen FRANCHISE. However, they come out with a new Call of Duty every year, and then old version eventually stops selling and stops being played. In the case of Mario Kart or Super Mario on the Wii, there is no indication of a sequel to these ever coming out, so these titles seem to keep up in sales. And they look good enough later in the Wii's life cycle as they have earlier.
