actually there isnt much need for a lot of cash. Dev tools can be found on the internet for free without needing to pirate them.

there is your dev tools and game engine. Free. Don't doubt whats actually available without research. It makes you look foolish.

Blender is actually a very powerful tool, too. Its capable of graphics besting the best of last gen's games.
