In general long sigs bother me but I think the length rule we have it about right (mine even feels long though).
Animated gifs do bother the piss out of me though. Luckily adBlock takes care of those nicely. I'm not saying use adBlock to stop ads on this site, but with adBlock you can right click and choose Adblock Plus: Block Image and you never have to deal with that annoying animated gif again!
