I never had any incentive to register to this site, until this thread! I had no idea you could disable signatures. So much better now. Not from a performance prospective, its just a waste of real estate. Of course there are some real wastes of CPU resources when you have some dude having multiple animated gifs in his signature that posts 5 times in one page.
Other than seeing signatures, I do like to visit this site.
