Yes! If that guy is a playable character, then surely there'll be at least one more.
However, the way he looks makes me think of a Asch kind of character (or Kratos, for that matter) which means there's a chance he won't be a permanent character but he'll be usable for a little time.
This game was a sure-buy for me anyway so...
